BANJUL CITY TOUR

A visit to The Gambia without visiting the historic sites of Banjul is an incomplete visit.
With Banjul city tour, you will learn a lot about the history of colonialism and slave repatriation.
It starts at 9 am in the morning. We pick you up from your lodge/hotel and drive off to Banjul,the capital city.

On arrival to Banjul,we will have a 40 minutes stop at the Banjul-Arch which is our main national monument.Up stairs is a small museum which has some interesting historic events and artifacts about The Gambia.
From the Arch museum,we will drive to The national museum for arts and culture.In there,you have The Gambia’s biggest museum.It entails all what one has to know about colonialism,The Gambia’s struggles for independence,cultural diversity,post colonial Gambia etc.
From the national museum,we will drive to the Albert market.Its a local market for craft and local woven clothes.After concluding our activities at the Albert market,we will have our lunch and finally drive home
