At 8:30 am from the lobby of your hotel,we drive off for 40 minutes to Lamin lodge. Lamin lodge is a beautiful old wooden lodge situated right in the creeks mangroves of lamin village. On arrival,we will embark on a wooden boat with a captain and cruise in the creek and amongst the mangroves look out for wetland birds with binoculars for far distance views.
After a almost 3 hours of cruising,we get back to our vehicle and drive to ABUKO NATURE RESERVE which is the oldest nature to reserve in The Gambia. You will be given an hour guided walk in the reserve seeing nature and woodland birds. At the end of the park is an animal orphanage where hyenas and baboons are kept. After concluding out activities at the park,we drive back to lamin lodge and have our lunch. We drive back home after lunch.
